Your Name at North Pole

Mission of Hope_Toolkit-1FUNDRAISING EXPEDITION TO THE NORTH POLE BY TWO TIMES CANCER SURVIVOR AND WORLD RENOWNED INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER – SEAN SWARNER

By DONATING $5 (OR MORE) you can have the name of someone you know who is a cancer survivor, or in memory of someone who has passed from cancer, printed on THE FLAG OF HOPE that Sean is taking on his NORTH POLE EXPEDITION and planting AT THE VERY TOP OF THE WORLD in April 2017. Your donation will also give hope to all those suffering from cancer in parts of the world where there is little or no treatment for this appalling disease. (All fund donated through the INCTR Challenge Fund will be split 50/50 with Sean’s Cancerclimber Foundation).

SeanWhile still only in his early teens, Sean Swarner was diagnosed not once but twice with two different life threatening cancers but he was determined not be beaten and despite now only having one lung has achieved the seemingly impossible.  He has climbed Mount Everest and the highest peaks in Africa, Europe, South America, Europe, Australia and Antarctica.  He has already reached the South Pole and now intends to reach the top of the world, the North Pole.

Starting on 1st April 2017 Sean will be ski-ing, snowshoeing, swimming and climbing his way to the North Pole summit where he will plant a Flag of Hope bearing the names of all those nominated by donors to his crowdfunding campaign.  For just $5 you can have the nominee of your choice added to the Flag. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only support the work of the INCTR but to have your chosen nominee immortalised at the very top of the world.

Most of us will have either suffered from cancer or have family or friends who have been afflicted by this appalling disease.  However, here in the UK we have access to state of the art treatments, emotional support and sadly, when necessary, palliative care.  Thousands of people throughout poorer parts of the world are not so fortunate.  For them, there is little hope of curative treatments or medication to relieve the suffering at the end of their lives.

However, with the help of INCTR, the International Network for Cancer Treatment and Research, doctors and nurses throughout the world are able to offer hope to thousands of cancer patients for whom there would otherwise be no prospect of survival or relief from pain.

Monies raised through INCTR UK Challenge Fund will be used to support the INCTR programmes listed on our PROGRAMME page.
