In Memorial
Christopher Niblett was a keen footballer and a popular Geography teacher at Dame Alice Owen’s School, Potters Bar, Herts.
In 2005 Chris was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma (BL); a rare cancer in the UK but more common in younger people in Africa.
Through his contact with Prof. Ama Rohatiner at Bart’s Hospital in London, Chris learned of INCTR’s BL treatment programme in Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria and planned to raise funds to support BL treatment in Africa.
Sadly, Chris died in 2006 but his family and friends established a memorial fund to carry out his wishes and have raised over £90,000 in Chris’s memory. This year, 2016, is the 10th year since Chris passed away. His family and friends wish to raise a total of £100,000 in his name to help the less fortunate little ones in Africa.
INCTR and The INCTR Challenge Fund are very grateful to Chris’s family for their continuing contribution to the INCTR BL treatment programme.
